POOR SEASON HAS HARDENED THE WHOLE TEAM OF RÄIKKÖNEN
The whole team that is busy around Kimis car succeeded well in Belgian gp. As the race strategy hit the nail the result was at best the fourth place. At the beginning of the season Räikkönen got a new race engineer Antonio Spagnolo who has had a tough learning curve by side Räikkönen. In a few races in the radio were David Lloyd but the last two races the responsibility has been on Spagnolo. - Antonio is a nice and smart fellow, I know him from the past but in different job. In race you have to do the desicions quickly, when you are a rookie, its not an easy job, even if you have watched how to do it. I wouldnt do it with this experience if I was there at the wall doing desicions. When you begin to be used to it, things get easier and Antonio has been tons of better than in the beginning of the season. I guess it would have been easier with Stella but I dont think it would have made any difference. It was good Lloyd was helping us, Antonio could concentrate to where he is at his best. Another engineer is not a new thing on my career, even Mark Slade was nervous sometimes when he had to make quick desicions, so we had another guy on radio so that Mark could make desicions in peace without talking to me at the same time. They gave Kimi the optimal strategy because they anticipated Alonso's penalty, don't think it's upto Spagnolo to decide.... but I can tell Spagnolo seems to be much more confident now compare to beginning of the season.
Just hope Ferrari are capable of giving both drivers good strategies in the future.

Räikkönen noticed already during winter testing that this years Ferrari has has lots of fauls, developing started immediately, but unfortunately every step forward needs a lot of time.
- car wasn´t bad for example malaysia where I had good speed, but on the race I had a puncture and that was it. That got nothing to do with car not working. It has always gone like that, when ever the car has worked well for me, something else has gone wrong.

Kimi´s back no more an issue
how is your back?
- It´s ok and it´s better than it has been in few years. It will never be fixed or as good that it was at the beginning of my career. There will always remain some problem on my back, but it doesn´t hurt anymore as the bulge doesn´t press the nerve anymore,
- These problems come with the time. Everykind of things have happened during the years of racing, it always hits to the back and it´s the best situation.
The big crash at silverstone didn´t feel at all on Kimi´s back.
- I noticed nothing on my back.
what about the spiritual wounds that this season has caused?
- This is nothing new to me, I knew already when I first sit on the car and noticed how the car was, that this will be a difficult season.
Sharper responding front end a number one wish
Technical principal James Allison has promised Ferrari a car, that will suit for both Kimi and Fernando´s driving styles.
- Car will change a lot to next year and it will surely work better, Kimi knows.
What do you want from the car, when you said many times that you can´t the feeling from it that you want?
- front end must be stronger, even if the rear end at the moment isn´t great either. The front end should be got to the like that it turns and would go where I want it to go. It´s now much better than it was at the start of the season, when it only slided and didn´t turn anywhere where I wanted it to turn.
a second gap to Alonso, has been noted heavily on the media a gross the world.
-There has to be only problem/mistake on one single corner and the gap comes from there, Kimi says.
