Zitat von Olgathat makes things even worse if true. but these things happen...we must expect them. still i got so mad at them these days.
during summer, this person told me that lotus has not made many payments to suppliers since May. thats when i started to believe the ferrari story ( he also said there are too many things we fans dont know about 2009 ). i still cant believe how such a promising team, with an excellent big name driver who performed so consistently, did not manage to get sponsors...its so sad!
but i hate and dont want to see Boullier turning to a new LdM...
I ve also read somewhere that Lotus has cleaning contracts, and they haven't been paid for a long time and the company wants to take action. The Lotus house of cards will soon come crushing down, which is a shame as they are a likable team in some ways. I would love to hear more about 2009 and 2008 for that matter. I have my own theories. But I always believe that the people who actually work in F1 understands or knows better what happened then the fans and the media, and they dont hold it against Kimi. The media is a much bigger issue then the actually people within F1.
I'm sick, in pain and frustrated. I'm down and all this mysteries sorrounding Kimi doesn't help me get my mood any better. Kimi has demonstrated he is a professional by driving for free and in pain. At least here in Fox Sports they reckoned that and praised Kimi for it.
But I've heard very sick words from other media, like the one that Kimi supposedly fell down the stairs while being drunk or that he's faking it to screw Lotus " title="roll" />
In other news, aparently Slade doesn't want to move to Italy because of his family and that Stella will be Kimi's race engeneer, but I don't know who will be Alonso's " title="dunno" />
ZitatRäikkönen’s departure is for Lopez like a father who’s child moves out from home Translated by our foreign correspondent F1 | Turun Sanomat 01:30
Gerard Lopez didn’t swallow his disappointment when losing Räikkönen to Ferrari. It became especially annoying for him when Räikkönen confirmed his departure by leaving a legacy of not getting his salaries paid.
– This is F1, when you say something like that it becomes a huge explosion, Lopez complained in an interview with Turun Sanomat.
– Kimi is really a fantastic driver and a fantastic guy. I won’t change my opinion of him in any way, he said.
How does Lopez react to Räikkönen’s departure?
– Kimi has his family here. Sometimes children leave their home and bash their parents. I am sorry, because the guy who leaves us is a guy who I like really much. We believed in him when nobody else did, Lopez said.
How difficult is it to fill Räikkönen’s seat?
– I don’t know but we are sure that we won’t find a new Kimi. But then again Kimi wasn’t Robert Kubica, and Robert wasn’t Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton.
– There are good drivers out there. I’m sure that we are the best team to get a driver who is good, but not yet 100 %, and that we can lift him to a new level. If we find a driver who’s perfomance ability is now 80-85 %, then we can add the remaining 15-20 %.
– We shouldn’t also forget that Kimi wasn’t driving around with any shopping cart from the supermarket, he was driving a really good race car. We can also give a good machinery.
– We aren’t replacing Kimi with Kimi, but we are going to make sure that we replace him with a good driver, Lopez assured.
The favorite is Nico Hülkenberg, who’s manager Werner Heinz is anchored in Lotus-team’s pit garage. Felipe Massa is knocking on the door with the support of Brazilian Globo-tv and Brazilia’s Santander, but Toto Wolff already expressed his interest in getting Massa into DTM if he is left without a F1-seat on Saturday evening.
According to information Turun Sanomat has Massa will probably find a seat in Force India.
Zitat Singapore Grand Prix 2013: Kimi Raikkonen says he has no qualms about returning to drive for Ferrari in 2014 Kimi Raikkonen is sitting at a table in Lotus’s air-conditioned paddock home in Singapore, away from the heat and commotion outside, talking openly about the possibility of taking his team to court over an estimated £12.5 million in unpaid salary. Kimi Raikkonen fields questions from the media on the first practice day ahead of the 2013 Singapore Grand Prix

If he finds the situation in any way uncomfortable, with his team bosses and mechanics tucking into their dinners all around us, he is doing a good job of hiding it.
“I don’t know,” he shrugs when asked if he might sue. “I wish all the best for this team – they gave me the chance to come back to Formula One – but obviously there is a reason why we make contracts.”
Classic Kimi. As his former McLaren team-mate David Coulthard wrote in these pages last week, what you see is what you get where Raikkonen is concerned. There are no frills to the Finn. He does not do gossip, or PR, or power games. He just wants to be left alone to drive – something at which he excels.
It is why his return next season to Ferrari, a team that were so keen to get rid of him they opted to buy him out of his contract at the end of 2009, is such an intriguing one.
Not only have the historic Italian marque gone back in for a driver who they felt was not pulling his weight the last time around – who president Luca di Montezemolo infamously described as the “twin brother” of the driver they thought they had hired – but they have done so at the risk of upsetting their golden boy Fernando Alonso.

yes, that's what he says. That often he is already in pain when he comes to a race weekend but that it gets better while driving. This time it occured here and got worse.
Kimi Räikkönen's back is better and Mark Arnall confirmed on Sunday afternoon that Kimi will start the GP as usual.
Because more and more wilder rumours about the reason for the backpain are circulating, Turun Sanomat will now tell what really happened.
Räikkönen drove over the marbles in 1st practice and right on the first lap, which shook his whole body making the bone in the middle of the back move and it pressed the spine so much that he couldn't breathe.
The seat was a bit skewed, which affected his driving position. After that every time he pushed the pedal with his left foot in right corners the pain got unbearable.
After practice day they tried to release the bone pressing the spine with chiropractic treatment, but on Saturday morning the pain was even worse. In Saturday practice Räikkönen almost stopped driving, but he continued in the end and took also part in the qualification with incomplete setups which again slowed down the car.
They eased his backpain with pain killers for qualification.
Mika Salo said just in MTV3 extra Kimi will start but he isnt alright. The spine has now been anesthetized but it lasts only one hour. The race is two hours long. So lets see. " title="blink" />
