Motocross team ICE1RACING was tested in international race in Alicante

The new ICE1RACING motocross team of Kimi Räikkönen tested itself in the first race of the season in Alicante, Spain. Kari Tiainen, the seven-time World Champion in Enduro, leads as the team manager the two young ridersToni Eriksson (MX1) ja Ludde Söderberg (MX2), who participated in the international testrace. Eriksson was in the 3rd place in his class and Söderberg wasn’t able to finish. At the same time as Kimi Räikkönen started in WRC rally in Sweden, ICE1RACING motocross team started their own season with a test race in Spain in Alicante. For the international event at the race track of Crevillent, 123 riders from 8 nations came to test their race condition. The ICE1RACING riders Toni Eriksson and Ludde Söderberg were also in the start for the first time with their Kawasaki bikes.

The goal of the team was clear from the start. ” We wanted to test the team, how well it functions and what needs to be altered before the start of the Grand Prix season”, sums the team manager Kari Tiainen. ”We are a new, young team and we need practise – both in riding and tecnically.”

Ludde Söderberg (MX2) won the first heat in MX2, but couldn’t finish the second heat.
