Mostly its not only finnish press which spread these rumours, when googling Kimi to Lotus /Renault deal, you see german press reporting it, about two weeks earlier the deal was announced. Also finnish press quotes german press. Only one I believe is Heikki Kulta, Iltalehti and Ilta-Sanomat are tabloids, only time they got it right was when Ilta-Sanomat published the news Kimi will end his career in Abu Dhabi in early spring 2009. So it seems finnish/german press are married. h" title="hih" /> Will see. I also believe Kimi has already signed, but like Boudica, I think its possible he could stay at Lotus.
Sorry, I´m to tired to translate all the stuff. It say, that Ferrari is not interested in Kimi. And that they think, the Robertsons are making this rumors to have better chances for a contract with " title="rb" /> Or at least with Lotus. " title="hmm" />
well, it's just another article, not something that we can rely on
If anyone is interested in seeing psycho thread with both fans and non-fans of Kimi clashing one should try seeing into this: http://forum.planet-f1.com/viewtopic.ph ... &start=120
As far as the Red Bull situation goes Tost is taking about a replacement for Ricciardo. It seems like he could be close to getting the seat. While in the meantime we are not hearing anything about Lotus looking for replacements.
Things could be quite interesting next season we are seeing more information about the rule changes. There is a lot of rumours that Mercedes will have the best engine, and there is also a lot of reports that Ferrari will have the worst engine. Things could really be a lottery. There is also a lot of concerns about cooling, traditionally Adrian Newey hasn't been very good when it comes to cooling. It even took a while for Red Bull to get over their cooling issues. So if Kimi has to decide between Renault engines there might actually be some good with staying at Lotus. I just wish Lotus could get themselves into gear, you dont want to suddenly see them go bankrupt or something next season.
News in the German press: They said, Ricciardo will become Sebs partner. http://www.motorsport-total.com/f1/news ... 81708.html They said in this article the source is the Sport BILD, so its not such a reliable source " title="oi" />
here is the Sportbild article http://sportbild.bild.de/SPORT/formel-1 ... iardo.html they also asked Marko about it and he said: "We won't announce anything before Spa. More I can't say about it." Well I think it's true and it's no surprise.
I was wondering about that Ferrari pic too.. " title="hmm" /> why post that to the article now? " title="nails" /> even forgetting what happened in the past I don't think it's a good idea to go to Ferrari..
