Hmm very interesting when you watch the interview and connect it to the 10 year deal thing, then it all sounds very plausible. But who knows really.
Earthquake
TJ13 has just heard from a fairly reliable source, there will be a driver announcement in Monza that will resonate throughout F1 with the equivalent force as would an earth tremor which registers as a 9.0 on the Richter scale. I give this source a 7 out of 10 on the reliability scale.
Further, in my opinion and experience of F1, it will be tricky to keep this quiet beyond the weekend of Spa and the Belgium GP. http://thejudge13.com/2013/07/29/daily- ... july-2013/
This sounds interesting. But usually these kinds of things are rarely as big as people make it out to be. Seeing as it is Monza it might be Ferrari related.
As long as it isn't something like Kimi returning to Ferrari.
Regarding the Ferrari related part.. I think we are more likely to hear about an engineering "shake-up" within the team rather than a driver change. If anything, Massa is going to be fired. I supposed that could be "earthquake" worthy because he's been in the team many years. But not unexpected..
I read a few sources saying Ferrari had to revert to a few race old-spec because the new updates weren't working as planned. This has also been coupled with news that their 'new' wind tunnel still is not properly calibrated and is being adjusted, again. That should be finalized in "late summer." Either way: I think the biggest news coming from Ferrari would be the dismissal of Domenicali and/or Tombazis. This is Alonso's fourth year in Ferrari and he's yet to drive the 'best' car in the field. In addition, Ferrari seemed to have arguably the strongest car in the beginning of the year. But are now falling behind the others in the development race. If Ferrari start slow after the summer break, I really fear for Domenicali and/or Tombazis..

I knew this was coming. Ferrari isn't happy campers at the moment.
ZitatTost wants one more Toro Rosso season for Ricciardo Tost sees "no reason" why Red Bull shouldn't choose 23-year-old Ricciardo
Jul.31 (GMM) Franz Tost has admitted he would be happy if Daniel Ricciardo spends another year at Toro Rosso.
Australian Ricciardo has earned a place in contention for the departing Mark Webber's 2014 seat at Red Bull.
But also in the running is Kimi Raikkonen, amid F1's hottest rumour that Fernando Alonso also might want to be Sebastian Vettel's teammate next year.
But Toro Rosso team boss Tost told Speed Week he sees "no reason" why Red Bull shouldn't choose 23-year-old Ricciardo over his title-winning rivals.
"Personally," he admitted, "I would rather see him get another year in the maturing process at Toro Rosso.
"I mean, we are talking here about Red Bull Racing, the champion team of the last three years," Tost said.
"Daniel has never been on a formula one podium, he has not won a race -- because our car was not good enough.
"That's the only negative I see for him. Otherwise, I think he will have great successes in formula one."
On the other hand, Tost insisted a young Sebastian Vettel was not so different to Ricciardo when the now reigning triple world champion stepped up from Toro Rosso.
"The biggest difference between Vettel and Ricciardo was that Vettel went to Red Bull when it was not a winning team. They grew up together.
"But Ricciardo must immediately be on the podium and fighting for wins.
"Perhaps the chance has come a year too early," added Tost.
Zitat von RagingjamaicanAlways wanted to see a Raikkonen and Alonso partnership.
I'm not surprised by this, Raikkonen's the only big name in the market, the next driver closest is Hulkenberg.
Maybe a Hulkenberg and Raikkonen line up at Ferrari?
I think you're hanging out in Jamaica or something maaann " title="rasta" />
I don't think you'll ever see Kimi wearing the Scuderia red ever again. I will gladly throw my hand up if I'm wrong.. But Kimi looks like he actually enjoys racing now.
