Zitat von Betulla I like the spirit of these guys! They have been chosen to live a great experience: travelling all around the world while doing what they love most, with the support of a professional team (in their case). It is the dream of many and, as young men, they might be very excited for that. I see maturity in their behaviour instead: they are working hard, improving, learning, fighting and, at the same time, they are very realistic and humble. A good example for juniors. I like Ice One Racing Team! s" title="yess" />
Great post, Betulla! You summed it up pretty well. Kimi and Kari must be proud of their boys.
The closest GP in the circuit brought ICE1RACING to Uddevalla, Sweden. The slippery track demanded good riding and errors easily molded the results in the qualifying race. Ludde Söderberg was 29th in MX2. "The race was a struggle. Even though I tried to ride fast, it didn't affect my speed", commented Söderberg his riding.
The return for Toni Eriksson, who was injured in the first GP in Sevlievo, was also tough in MX1. He was caught up with crashing riders in the very start and fell behind. Eriksson was 30th. "Rough start", dissatisfied Eriksson commented. ICE1RACING had also a third rider in the start this weekend. The junior team rider Santtu Tiainen got a wild card for the Uddevalla GP and felt at home on the hard track. His riding was very, yet he gained one minute extra to his qualifying race time for failing the post race sound control. Tiainen placed 29th.
What is wrong with the boss? " title="dunno" /> Is Kimi completely frozen? You see people wearing shorts and Kimi has a winter cap on? " title="blink" /> But: nice pics. Thank you! girl" title="yay" />
Zitat von KingaGreat pics! I don't know how was the temperature in Sweden but in Hungary it was only +15 most of the time of the weekend, so I guess it must have been even colder in Sweden.
Nope I think it´s warmer in skandanavia at the moment! At least in Helsinki " title="smile" />
Motocross GP continued after the midsummer break on a technical claytrack in Uddevalla Sweden. Ludde Söderberg was 23th in both of the races in MX2. Both Toni Eriksson who just returned from his injury and Santtu Tiainen who received a wildcard were in the start in MX1. Eriksson was 23rd in the first race and 24th in the second. Tiainen was injured in the morning practice. The owner of ICE1RACING team Kimi Räikkönen was also following the GP.
The motocross GP returned from the midsummer break to slippery claytrack to Uddevalla in Sweden. The weekend offered both sun and rain and the riders were to compete on a very technical track. Also the team owner Kimi Räikkönen was following the GP.
“The track is every possible way tough and on its’ own way greatâ€, described Söderberg the track in Uddevalla. “I was able to fight well, but small crashes took simply too much time.â€
Ludde Söderberg was 23th in the both motos in MX2. MX2 was won by Ken Roczen with victories in both motos, Jeffrey Herlings was second and third was Gautier Paulin. Harri Kullas was 12th in the race.
In MX1 there were two ICE1RACING riders at the start. Toni Eriksson returned to GP after his injury in Bulgaria and he was able to ride two clean races. “I’m not satisfied with the riding yet, but there is only two months from the injury, so it feels good to get two clean racesâ€, described Eriksson his return. Eriksson was 23th in the first race and 24th in the second.
Santtu Tiainen, who was the subrider for Toni Eriksson during his injury, was given the wildcard to the race and his riding was very good in the Saturday’s qualifying race. The race day started with bad luck though, Tiainen injured himself in the morning practice. Tiainen dived over the bar and received a nasty hit to his stomach, from which he is getting better in bed rest in the hospital.
“Hard hit like that needed further tests in the hospital. No broken ribs though, yet the insides got such a big hit that the doctor wanted him to stay under surveillance in the hospital for a few daysâ€, clarified the head mechanic John Luotonen.
MX1 was won by Steven Frossardby winning both motos, second in the GP was Evgeny Bobryshev and third Antonio Cairoli.
The next GP will be raced in Teutschethal Germany July 10rd.

Sweden( west Sweden) wasnt actually so warm compared to our +30 there was under +20 and mostly cloudy. Maybe Kimi got Kajs flu.
