I think now Ferrari is sandbagging specially their race pace. I dont think Alo would be half a second slower than Kimi with softs, as he drove his race simulation with opposite tyres than Kimi. They are definitely not showing their true pace.
Kimi did a few laps on SS´s at the end and did his best at the very last lap! Wonder whether he did pit in between?
I think that he did as the SS have a much bigger drop off?
Well if Ferrari is that slow I at least doesn´t have to stress myself that much about the Kimi vs. Alo battle.

quote14:31 That's it, another day of testing in the books. Raikkonen improves by less than a tenth as the chequered flag comes out, leaving Massa at the top of the times with the fastest lap we have seen in Bahrain over seven days of running here.
14:28 Raikkonen sets personal bests through the first two sectors, but the lap falls away a little bit towards the end and he crosses the line just one hundredth of a second down on his best.
14:20 Raikkonen goes third fastest in the Ferrari with just under 10 minutes left. He manages a low 1m35.
his best lap was that at 14:31, dunno if he pitted inbetween 14:20 and 14:28 but I guess he did. even if it was done with more fuel and older tyres 2 seconds behind is a lot!
Yeah but the thing is that it´s just Willy and Mercedes who are that much faster!
Kimi did 87 laps overall! Does someone know how many he had after this sim was done?
Lets wait for Melbourne!

TS is writing about Ferraris "quali"run as a alarm bells ringing at Maranello. But Heikki Kulta reminds these are tests and you cant read what they are doing other than Kimi didnt have time to do proper quali run , as he didnt have done any set up work for the quali. This work has to be done by Alonso. At the next day Kulta writes" hang on a bit" the quali sim wasnt so bad as it seems. The gasoline amount in Kimis tanks wasnt comparable with the others but clearly Ferrari has a work to do regarding quali speed. Kimi has to do his set up work in Melbourne.

Thanks for the news!
Well I suppose that nowadays teams dont use a qualy set-up? Well anyways I hope that Kimi finds a good set-up at Australia.
BTW he doesn´t seem to be the only unlucky one as Mercedes has all the problems with their car when Hammy is testing.
