It's tough to say how I would feel.. I'm sure many people thought Lewis was crazy for switching to Merc.. And look how that worked out. It coul be good, it could be bad.
I would feel much more comfortable with Lotus if they had cash.. It takes more than the best brains to compete at this level of Motorsport.. So I guess I'd feel better about red bull bc we know they aren't struggling financially
I think it's obvious that Raikkonen wants to stay at Lotus, he's been very vocal about them recently, in another way of trying to get them to get their act together, he also said people will find his decision 'stupid', and the majority probably feel that staying at Lotus isn't the best choice.
I, like YiNing would be disappointed if he doesn't go to Red Bull.
Both of the teams are likely to have Renault engines which is the biggest question mark on performance so that's stable, Red Bull are much better funded and organised, and will have better aero.
In saying that though, Red Bull might not be at the top next season, but they will, in my opinion, be better off than Lotus, although I do think the Red Bull car will be very unreliable next year.
