ZitatKimi Raikkonen will plead with his ex-wife Jenni Dahlman As reported by the French media, Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen and his ex-wife, winner of the title «Miss Scandinavia 2001″ Jenni Dahlman intend to defend their interests in court during the division of joint property.
Recall that the 2007 world champion lived married to Finnish supermodel about nine years. In February of 2013 the couple announced a divorce. In all likelihood Dahlman and Raikkonen failed to reach an agreement on the division of property and in front of them waiting for legal proceedings.
It is worth noting that the state Raikkonen is estimated at 120 million euros.

Zitat von ysabellaI thought they made a pre- nap agreement.?
Thanks for posting, ysabella!
I was thinking the exact same thing, I just failed to mention it in my previous post. It's hard to know exactly what the pre-nup agreement said though. Kimi and Jenni purchased properties, automobiles and many other pricey expenses throughout their marriage. So hopefully there was foresight when the pre-nup's were signed.
I personally am not familiar with how these type of contracts are written, as I've never signed one.. Maybe someone else is better informed?
P.S. I didn't know Kimi was worth that much money.. " title="blink" />

Yes, he dont look like a millionaire with his Makia shirts h" title="hih" /> I´m not surprised. But I dont like, that he has to do this to this moment. " title="oi" /> He has very important things to decide in the next weeks for his future. He should better concentrate on this and not on the stupid divorce. " title="mad" />

Agreed I am also not surprised. And the timing is bad, but luckily Kimi isn't Lewis.
Usually a pre-nup means you can only take what you put into the marriage. But that is for normal people. Things might be slightly different if you are a millionaire. It might be better for Kimi to actually go to court since he has a pre nup. Splitting everything in half would certainly not be fair toward him, it is not as if they have children or anything.

I dont know if this news is true i didnt found anything in finnish media. But i asked my uncle who is a lawyer, about this kind of pre-nup agreement, he told me that once you made a pre-nup agreement he or she will expect ONLY what they agreed on that agreement if they decided to divorce. even if they purchased properties etc. throughout their marriage. for marriage couple who made a pre-nup it easy for them to divorce because they have a signed agreement.
It also depends what reads in the prenup. If it says, Kimi owns everything he has earned before the marriage, Jenni has a right to demand the part Kimi has earned during their marriage. But I have heard, Kimi has secured his fortunes, so Jenni might just poke the ice with the stick.

Finnish media hasnt said a word about this.
Thank you apple that was i'am thinking it's impossible that Finnish media don't know about this news.
worth noting - depends on the country their marriage was officially registered. Some countries do recognise prenups, some not. Also some countries can recognise prenup but up to the limit only.
considering (more assuming) she wasn't earning much money during marriage and they have no kids and IF there was a documented affair she might not get more than some legal limits...
I am surprised they didn't reach peaceful decision, he doesn't look like a guy who would fight harder than necessary in such case

Yes I think she would get less out of this if she actually goes to court. There was also the debacle with the naked pictures. The pre-nup was signed in England.
