Zitat von OlgaKimi is a solid driver but he certainly does not have the mentality ferrari wants...you know, yes men....i really cant see how this could happen...
I do think Momo's third article deserves translation though:
ZitatThe temptation Raikkonen delays the renewal of Massa Kimi Raikkonen, 34, currently racing in the Lotus-Renault, was at Ferrari from 2007 to 2009 before moving to the rally (up to 2012) Ferrari, the choice of the 2nd Strategy Guide for the Constructors' title STEFANO MANCINI The second Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has to respect the team and its tradition, have a good resume and going strong. "Among the names I've heard, there is not one that is worth the Mass," he cut short a few days ago the leader of the World. But among these names had not yet been done to Kimi Raikkonen, who meets all the requirements. In Maranello are considering a return that would be sensational, but it would solve a fundamental problem of the last three years: get as many points. Apart from Monza and Singapore, Massa has contributed little to the constructors' championship. Despite having a pilot leading the championship with 29 points ahead lead over nearest the horse is only third, with a Lotus threatening that often makes results with both cars. The ranking of the teams, while turning less to the imagination of fans, very interested in Maranello for a couple of good reasons: first, the prestige is transferred to the standard car, and second, the money, because the prizes are awarded based on the course final ranking, and between one position and the other dance several million euro. The last constructors' title for Ferrari dates back to 2008, the best players Massa, who finished second to a point behind Hamilton and Raikkonen own. The following season was one of the worst for the Reds, Massa incident to the difficulties of a machine born evil. Raikkonen is paid at year-end to make way for Fernando Alonso. The Finn goes his own way: after the final Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, undresses overalls, change, his belongings, and takes the taxi, without saying goodbye. It is not for rudeness: it did so (it is not a coincidence that his nickname is Iceman, Iceman). End of story. The following will handle its management, will demand the payment of salary in 2010, according to the contract. Kimi has never had words of revenge or resentment or in Maranello They never complained about him, winner of the drivers' title in 2007, the debut season in red. Of course, it is not the kind of person who wastes words to discuss with the engineers or technical smiling on command during the events organized by the sponsors. But he has the speed in the blood, knows the dynamics of dressing (in the last races of 2008 agreed to make the wingman for Massa) and the Lotus is doing a great impression, so as to be in the fight for the title despite being two years away from Formula 1 to fiddle with the rally. Mass can only convince Ferrari to desist with the Finn and not to seek other options (such as Di Resta or Hulkenberg for Force India): next Sunday in Japan, will play a big portion of his career.

This is what I don't understand about Ferrari. If Ferrari are not happy that they are not winning WCC's and they know Massa is culprit. Why do they not get rid of Massa? If Ferrari keep Massa: should we, as the viewers, think anything other than Ferrari have made the team solely for the success of Fernando and chasing down WDC's? I don't see any other way to view it.
If you want to win WCC's, you must get rid of the weak link. But Ferrari seem like they may not go this route. Which makes you wonder: What really is the priority in the team? And if Massa stays another year.. This does not seem like a team that Vettel would want to join in 2014. Just my thoughts..
btw Spinne, i just would like Schumi to stay and do well...i dont mind him being with Kimi, as long as Kimi is faster (which i know 100% he is!!! ) " title="ii" />
The thing is, Ferrari does look at Kimi as a second driver (even though he is not) that will help them get the WCC. I didn't hear LdM saying something about having two drivers to get the WDC. On the contrary, with Kimi their last Ferrari WC they should be treatinghim as their no.1 and Alo 2nd.
But as I don't see that happening in the real world, I say please Kimi stay at Lotus. I can't see myself cheering for the Reds ever again!
But on the other hand, I love reading this kind of articles in the Italian media, o sweet, sweet revenge. Ok now. I'll go to church to repent on my sins. " title="holy" />
30.09.2012, 16:45 | Opinions F1 | Ferrari: Indispensable for a new partner Alonso
September 30, 2012 - In a week will take place on the Japanese Grand Prix. Felipe Massa is called to give evidence in support of effective race to the World of Fernando Alonso who leads the standings.
The test which is called Massa has many aspects. To help his team-mate, with the intent to keep as far away from the podium the main opponent, Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull chases the leader of Ferrari. Mass must try to wrest the best possible result to earn the respect and confidence of his team, tired of waiting for results incomparable to those obtained by Alonso. The trust has failed between Felipe and Ferrari should be rinconquistata the field, to the sound of points, with the contract pending renewal between the teeth.
Montezemolo has asked for time to think about the extension of the agreement with Massa. Ferrari president wants to meditate again, want to have the confirmation of psychological recovery and performance of the pilot carioca, after a confrontation with Alonso for three seasons, the results merciless.
In 2010 arrives at Maranello Fernando Alonso instead of Kimi Raikkonen, the world championship gets out of hand the last race of the first season in red pilot Oviedo. A blow to Felipe Massa sixth closes at 144 points, compared to 252 of Alonso, second behind Vettel will win by a whisker with 256 points. In Constructors Ferrari is third with 396, with 454 behind McLaren and Red Bull winner with 498 points.
In 2011, the music does not change for a couple of Ferrari: Alonso 4th with 257 points, 392 behind Vettel, Button 270, Webber 258. Massa 6th, totals 118 championship points. In Constructors Ferrari with 375 points chase again with McLaren and Red Bull 497 points to 650 repeating in that year in winning the world title.
This season, 2012, the music is changed only for Fernando after the Singapore GP keeps the lead in the standings with 194 points, detaching the tracker Vettel to 165, real formidable challenger at the moment for the Ferrari driver. Massa leads the "missing" in 10th place with 51 points. Ruthless comparison, the true reason why the Ferrari is just 245 points in the Constructors' Championship, 3rd place, pursued by the tandem of Lotus Raikkonen third in the standings with 149 points and Grosjean, 8th with 82 points.
Exactly, Montezemolo has asked for time to consider the future in a team of Felipe. Desirable it may be a justifiable excuse that the Ferrari president to hide the real reason so many thoughts: who sostiruire Massa. A new partner for Alonso is imposed before the mediocrity of results obtained in three seasons by the Brazilian. Fernando continues to weave praises his team-mate, perhaps rightly so, but the Prancing Horse has an imperative need to have two guides level.
The market drivers, after the turnaround chain triggered by trafserimento Lewis Hamilton from McLaren Mercedes thirsty to redemption, now offers little chance. If Perez was considered too young to pilot holding in your hands a Ferrari steering wheel, the same thing applies to other animals or remains of the track as the young White forces in the Academy of Maranello. Then there is the constraint that Stefano Domenicali said from the beginning and that is the eventual search of a mate Fernando willing to drive for one season, the next stop. This is a sign that fuels rumors of a possible arrival of Sebastian Vettel in the team since 2014.
The hypothesis persistently circulated at this time, the possible return of the cold Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen would be a desirable solution, given the demonstrated performance of the Finn after two seasons playing with the rally. The solution Raikkonen pilot as icy as fast, in the future could provide a good guarantee for the future Ferrari, where Red Bull were to defend with who knows what topics and resources to remain in the team of Sebastian Vettel after 2013.
Maranello has to retrieve points of image, on the market, after the setback suffered with Sergio Perez, passed from the nursery of the Ferrari Driver Academy at McLaren, through two happy seasons at Sauber Ferrari. The era of renewal is necessary in Cavallino, like the technical department successfully reorganized by Pat Fry after the departure of Aldo Costa. Think today to extend the stay of Felipe Massa for another season, would make sense to prolong agony sought and desired.
Domenicali hoped that the decision has already matured and well that ended with a new pilot worthy of the Ferrari name and that this silence was only a natural condition to close, without adverse shocks in the team, the more uncertain the Formula 1 championship. Must end the evidence tracking.
