Kimi Raikkonen had not spoken to the international press the F1 British Grand Prix after turmansa. Hockenheim pit tower media class were then asked directly whether Ferrari's Finnish driver total clearing the attack now 11 days that 47 g of force came after the bump.
- Yeah, Räikkönen lifting his shoulders.
How do you feel then?
- Most of the pain on the side. That was the reason why I left the Silverstone test to drive, Räikkönen explained.
Raikkonen faithful travel and fitness partner Mark Arnall specified the past days Turun Sanomat.
- That was one of the more extreme attacks on what Kimi is ajourallaan experienced. After that, he was bruised from all sides. The most painful was the most flank, but also occurred in the ankle and the knee of his time.
- In those states, will only help you sleep. I can not go to massage and soften sore muscles. They may be used only cold and heat treatment. Of course, such a sudden stop to your neck in it, after all, and was able to massage. Now, contusions and bruises are gone and Kimi is doing well, Arnall explains.
And how Raikkonen felt his own unhappiness?
- I'm sure everyone saw on TV what happened. I tried to return to the track, but the car jumped. I tried to get it back, but it was impossible, I was on the grass and then the fence. Feet hurt and ribs got sick, that's all.
Do you remember the sharper the accident embarked on this journey?
- After all, they were not. I hope this will at least last. Was painful. Quite often already quite a slow pace can go badly. It's just a part of this sport.
The penalty would have been a joke
Raikkonen was surprised when he was asked whether he was surprised by the sentence in order to consider the situation.
- What was to have given a penalty? The fact that the run out? If you get a penalty when you drive off the track on their own, that would be mostly a joke. If someone hit me, it came only after I had already come across the wall.
British ITV asked to clarify the headlines Silverstone comments on the possible closure of his career next season.
- I have a future in the contract, and I do not worry about those things. When I spoke to the end of the contract, I said nothing of years. You journalists will draw your own conclusions, and that's how it goes. I reckon yes my career with Ferrari, but I do not know what year it happens, Raikkonen stressed.
This year has gone completely under-recorded.
- Of course, let's not, at least not worse just might have to go. Such periods I have had in the past, but always at some point in the past we have received the course was turned for the better. Such a feeling is that it will happen now.
- We need to get the changes to the car that will help me. Have a lot of work, but this year is to be taken care of as far as possible to the end and obtain better results in order to get the ropes to work properly the next season. Thus, all the team is more comfortable.
Barks may vary kehuiksi
The criticism has been hard to headlines.
- It's normal for this business - unfortunately. Every year in the past, when I have not done, and I was barking up the same every time. Then, when you'll be fine, the same haukkujat turn his coat immediately and try to be hand in glove with me. Unfortunately, there are not very many honest friends, Räikkönen.
The front and rear suspension system nivoavaa-FRIC at least Ferrari use from now on. Kimi was asked what it will affect the performance of the car.
- Well, it would have been used if it would not be considered to be of benefit. I do not know how it became a great advantage. Certainly, the effect varies the team the team. Let's see how the weekend goes, so we can see what the effect was, Räikkönen weighed.
Toni Vilander said today, because of the FRIC system which is also moved away from Ferrari, Kimis car is now much more lower from the front and it actually behaves now more ovesteery, because the rear is loose. Vilander said he believes this is just a set up issue. But it seems this changes is good for Kimi. Its a shame I cant watch this race again..because we have my youngest ones confirmation on sunday.
quote“Like every Friday, our programme covered set-up work in the first session, then evaluating the tyres and doing a race simulation in the afternoon. Unfortunately in the morning, because of a technical problem, I had to come back to the garage and was unable to do an additional run on the Soft tyres, but thanks to a great job from the team, I managed to quickly get back out on track. In the afternoon, we made up for lost time and managed to improve on all fronts. Overall, it’s been a reasonably positive day, but it’s still to early to make any predictions. We will have to wait until tomorrow to know more.”

Kimi Raikkonen expressed his satisfaction after recovering from a technical issue during practice for the German Grand Prix to go fourth quickest.
Raikkonen, who sits a lowly 12th in the championship, ended the day just 0.546s down on leader Lewis Hamilton.
"Unfortunately in the morning, because of a technical problem, I had to come back to the garage and was unable to do an additional run on the Soft tyres, but thanks to a great job from the team, I managed to quickly get back out on track," he said.
"In the afternoon, we made up for lost time and managed to improve on all fronts. Overall, it’s been a reasonably positive day, but it’s still to early to make any predictions. We will have to wait until tomorrow to know more."
Team-mate Fernando Alonso was ninth fastest and does not believe that the removal of FRIC [Front and Rear Interconnected Suspension] has had a huge effect on the pecking order.
"I had no problems with either the Soft or Supersoft compounds and we just need to understand how they will behave in the race and what the weather could be like on Sunday," he said.
"I don’t think going away with FRIC changed much in terms of driving style and in order to have a clear picture you’d have to do a comparison with and without it, but running without it, we just have to adapt and be as well prepared as possible with what we have."
