Zitat von YiNingI don't know if his source was playing with him or what... this started to sound a bit silly
exactly. I don't trust his source. Just think, if there is a contact, how many people at Ferrari would actually know. And why should one of them spill it to him? Also it's very unlikely that Kimi would have all the power in this. If he signed why should he wait for the announcement? He would get rid of all the questions. And why should he wait for Lotus if he signed? He didn't sign then? " title="confused" /> There were also rumours that the extention for 2010 was also an option only Kimi had to decide but it was new contract and if true why should Ferrari from their POV do the same mistake again? so this all makes no sense for me.
Also I don't like the attitues of Pekka Franck. Always talking about others lying and so on.. " title="roll" />
Well here it says Kimi will stay in Lotus because Renault will bring him guarantees. That Domenicalli practically confirmed Alonso and that Ricciardo will be anounced soon.
Tomorrow actually, if Vanzini is to be taken seriously...
So if this is true, the big news will be that everybody will stay where they are " title="roll" />
Then Alonso tweets he has big news coming... what can it be " title="hmm" /> ... or maybe he just hates not being the center of attention h" title="hih" />
Zitat von YiNingI don't know what kind of world you or Kimi live in. It certainly not in my world.
Yining dont be mad at me... But it really exists
Spinne: I think YiNing has a very fair point here.
Pekka Franck has been acting like an arrogant prick ever since he broke the news of Kimi returning to Ferrari. In fact, he was so confident in his source that it made outsiders (or casual/interested fans) think twice about this drastic news. But, he is now starting to enter into a new realm with his tweets and attitude. He is starting to teeter on the edge of denial. He is starting to announce ahead of time when Robertson is going to announce info to the media. And he miscalculated. In addition, his "self-confidence" is starting to appear as desperation. "Believe in my story because there are no other truths." Bullshit. We are allowed to review all sources and make our own assessments and conclusions. We don't need one journo twisting everything he says into absolutes.
If he's right: I give him credit for having such inside sources. And for sticking very close to his story and not wavering.
But he is starting to enter very dangerous territory. I never believed Kimi would return to Ferrari. And I'm sure many Kimi fans remember the torture we witnessed on his face throughout 2008 and 2009. The highest of highs in 2007 leading to the lowest of lows and his eventual dismissal from the sport within 2 short years. A man who went from the peak of the alps to the depths of below sea level. Now that he's returned his stature to similar levels of 2007: does he want to enter the murky waters and roll the Dice with the same team that shamed his career and fame that he had to fight to restore? Common sense would tell you this alone is a far stretch. And now the 'absolute truth' from Mr Franck is starting to look desperate...
What once was a story that turned heads of even the non believers is starting to unravel.
Zitat von SpinsterWhy is it silly? Kimi has a contract if he wants he is just waiting for lotus to see if they find money! If not he goes
This sounds silly. Does he have a contract or not? You stated earlier Ferrari is giving into his demands (I.e. Kimi gets to tell Ferrari when the contract is announced).
If that is the case: then why would he still be waiting on lotus? If the contract with Ferrari is signed: Kimi shouldn't care about lotus' money issue for 2014.
Wow this silly season......don't know what to think now! " title="crazy" /> Luckily there's a race coming. " title="ii" /> In the end just hope Kimi is racing in F1 next year. " title="pray" />
First of all, I am not saying, I fully believe this source...
Just happened to think of certain plausible scenarios...
A) if lotus is looking for sponsor s and Kimi is one big name that attracts sponsors, doesn't it make sense to not announce that he is moving away ( as a favour to lotus f1 ) ( but people making big contracts usually will find out if the driver is gonna stay anyways )
B) the third year option be, if Kimi wants to drive he can( subject to fulfilling certain conditions), but Ferrari can't force him to ... Sounds the sorta thing Kimi ad Robertsons would want ( and can demand )
