Zitat von WHATEVEROh how convenient this is for Lotus. They don't have to pay Kimi his half a million dollars (sometimes more) per race and they will probably still get some constructors points.
This whole thing smells fishy. Why can't Kimi switch teams in peace?
I hope Kimi can fully recover from this, that's the main thing.
What surprised me the most about the seat incident is the lack of mention and ownership from Lotus. Granted, I didn't follow the news as closely as I normally would. But there was little mention or public apology to Kimi for this incident. If someone read the apologies: could they post them please?

i did not read a word of any explanation....i thought that it might not be true...but so many journos talked about it, even Kulta mentioned it as a shewed seat i think....
it was a mega epic technical fail, so i think they tried to be hush hush about it...
i guess it was just a mistake, but then, when you make such a mistake, you must have a humble face and not come out talking bs!
Zitat von BoudicaI dont think Kimi is just going stop racing, it must have been pretty bad last weekend but he still raced.
+1 He is tough. And I´m sure he has good doctors around. " title="holy" /> It´s to early to know whats in 10 days. Good that there is a 2 weeks break between the races " title="whew" />
ZitatRaikkonen expects to be fit to race in Korea Wednesday 25th September 2013, 08:07 by TF1T Staff
Kimi Raikkonen says he expects to be fit enough to drive in Korea in under a fortnight's time after serious back troubles nearly saw him drop out of the Singapore weekend.
The Lotus driver was almost replaced for the race after injuring his back, but managed to fight through the pain thanks to painkillers.
With concerns after the race that it could get worse, he admitted he was unsure if he'd be in a condition to drive at the next race, but now insists he "should be OK".
"We will have to see [how it is]. I think it should be OK and we will try to do a better overall weekend there [in Korea]," said the Finn.
Raikkonen admitted he was quite happy with third place, especially considering he almost dropped out of the weekend.
"I didn’t feel it too much during the race but obviously afterwards it's not ideal and on Saturday it was pretty bad," he added. "I almost didn’t drive, so between that and finishing third I think we have to be happy – and hopefully we can sort those problems for the next race.
"It’s not the first time. For a long time there have been some issues with my back. I know that I have some work to do at the end of the year so we have to see what we do." - See more at: http://www.f1times.co.uk/news/display/0 ... M9ORb.dpuf
On twitter "Mark Arnall told TS that Kimi won't need a surgery, that it's just the papers talking. – Rest will be enough for Kimi to be in full condition to drive next week in Korea."
" title="whew" /> Good news " title="ii" /> Poor Mark, he has to play entertainer in the next days..... or maybe its easy for Kimi because he love to " title="sleep" /> h" title="hih" />
Anyone read the article on autosport quoting Alan Permane about Fernando's title chances? This guy sounds grumpy and pessimistic. Someone needs to find the " title="crybaby" /> a pacifier!
Red Bull were not quicker by 2-2.5 sec. Romain was within a second of Red Bull/Seb's pace at the back if the pack on fresh tyres.
