What I find strange is that even though Vijay Mallya is a bit of a shady character and there is always talk about finacial problems for his team, he keeps giving oppurtunities to drivers who don't have big sponsors behind them. He "saved" Hulkenberg's career, gave a chance to di Resta when Mercedes didn't and is now thinking of getting Sutil back who also doesn't come with a lot of money. In times when even teams like Williams have two pay drivers (even if they are quite good, at least Maldonado), this is quite strange. I know there was talk that he doesn't pay his drivers but still.

Looks like pay drivers are taking over Formula One if Kobayashi and Kovalainen are gone for the grid, and definitely if Bruno Senna and Khartikeyan get to stay in Formula One.
