According to Russia Today, Petrov won't be Kimi Räikkönen's team mate next season in Lotus.
Russian sources know to tell that Lotus wants Petrov replaced by Romain Grosjean, although Petrov has a contract. Lotus would pay a monetary compensation to Petrov for firing him.
They say Petrov is heading to Marussia-team next season. Marussia has a contract with Timo Glock and Charles Pic, but it's possible that Glock could be replaced by Petrov.
Petrov's manager Oksana Kosatshenko said that she won't comment on the rumours.

Petrov's manager confirmed that he doesn't have a contract on 2012
Petrov's manager confirmed that apart form attempts to keep current contract (which can be ended by the team) she started negotiations with other 2 teams and all this started right after Sao Paolo before the contract with Kimi. But she admitted that Kimi's presense makes situation more difficult for PEtrov
I'm sad that Petrov lost his seat, even if he had a contract....we see again that f1 contracts can be nothing!
In 2010, when i did not see any f1 race except the last, for obvious reasons, Petrov gave me such a great joy! I thank the skeleton boy for that! He will always be my second favorite after Kimi!
I wish him a much better "second f1 start" next season! " title="yay" />

Would have been nice if our Pet had been Kimi's team mate.
Well I liked him but dunno whether he is better than Grosjean " title="dunno" /> Some say that Grosjean has more potential than him some say that Grosjean is bad " title="dunno" />
Anyway it just shows that Lotus doesn´t respect contracts at all. But that´s nothing new s" title="reds" />
