quoteScuderia Ferrari #Kimi7: #Kimi7 #BelgianGP: “Obviously we cannot be very happy with where we finished, but it’s much better than from where we started. Yesterday we had some issues but today we wanted to get a better end result. My start was pretty bad, I had a lot of wheelspin and then obviously the first corner was not ideal, but I was able to recover quite well. My car was handling pretty well through all the race, only towards the end I ran out of the front tyres. Today we kept doing our best and tried to improve our position, but coming from so far back it was not easy. We keep trying and hopefully we have some more luck on our side in the future, we are doing the right things as a team but all the times something happens and we cannot get the result we expect. Now we go to Monza, our home race: it would be very nice to have a strong weekend there in front of all our fans. Again the track has a lot of straightlines and is not going to be easy against all those cars but we’ll bring some new stuff that hopefully will help us to be in fight.” [via ferrarif1.com]
Arrivabene: "I must say that Kimi did a true masterpiece in his recovery. He drove very well"
Good race from Kimi. Even P7 is not so good. I understand that Seb was angry. Its one thing that a tyre become bad and you lose time. But its a other thing, that the tyre explode without any sign that it will happen. We can be happy, that nothing happened to Nico and Seb.
We had a great weekend at Spa! Nice and very hot. My friend even got a little bit sunburned but nothing too bad fortunatly!
It seemed that lots of ''new'' people went to the track. Many dutch people i spoke to it was their first time at a GP weekend. Don't think i have to tell who they came for
Still a good bunch of Kimi fans.. i'd say from where we sat (Pouhon at friday, rivage at saturday and sunday) There was probably 30% Kimi fans 30% Max and the rest others Even Valentino Rossi fans lol.
Such a shame for Vettel but he's had a lot of luck this season, it just had to end some time like it did with Kimi in 2013.
Saturday eve we went to the Nurburgring Nordschleife to do a lap at the Touristenfahrten session (i still had a lap left on my Ringcard from april and i wasnt planning to go again from my living place, 325km ) So we did the lap and enjoyed a good Jagerschnitzel like only the Germans can make
Sunday everything went pretty straightforward and we were home at 8pm, so not that bad considering it's a 3,5h drive. Fortunatly it was pretty quiet at the autobahn so we could really nearly constantly cruise at 200+kph
I've had an excellent weekend at the General Admission, packed with my umbrella and camping seat. Here are my best shots:

Thank you very much for sharing with us. Yes, it seems you had a great time and I'm very glad. It's also nice to hear so many people support Kimi. I like Verstapen too, he seems nice and is doing a good job.
That German meal looks yummy, what is it? I can see mushrooms and potatoes but what kind of meat is it?
A lap at the Nurburgring Nordschleife seems like a dream to me, but it also is to drive at 200kms/h, here we can't go over 100km.
Yeah Verstappen is quite a good driver and a nice person i believe. But sometimes i get a bit tired of the so called ''Max-mania'' over here. Max this, Max that.... Everyone here genually believes he will drive for Ferrari in 2017 (which might be true). Example: any news about Kimi or Ferrari on Dutch F1 sites people always write about Max in the comments, it's soo annoying, lol.
The meat is made of pork and indeed, it had mushrooms and potatoes as well. The sauce had a little bit of pepper in it.
The 'Schleife is a truly great track but confidence is key to a good laptime there more than every other circuit in the world. It's quite dangerous for me still after a few laps as a lot of braking points are downhill and you usually brake too late by instinct. Or the bumps in the middle of a fast corner which makes the back end of the car loose. Or the maniacs that are driving there... People often tell: if you're driving the Nordschleife you will crash, or you have crashed. I always took it very easy there, don't want to crash my (expensive) car there as the insurance won't pay anything if you're driving on the Ring and crash it.
The places at the autobahn without speed limits gets thinner every year i guess. It's all about anticipating but also trust in the car you're driving. When im going the Germany i always make sure my car is at 100% and has good tyre profile and raising the tyre pressure a bit. Don't want to experience a flat tyre at 200+ Such a shame its only 100 at your country! Here it's max 130, more or less 80mph. But speeding tickets are over 10 euro's for every kilometre you're going too fast, so i don't experiment too much here, haha.
